Heat transfer fluid is circulated through the solar collectors transferring heat into the storage cylinder using heat exchange design. The heat transfer fluid has a frost tolerance to temperatures as low as minus 27°C and also protects the collector waterways from the harmful effects of calcium build up found in some water supplies.
