Apricus solar collectors use high efficiency twin-glass evacuated tubes to absorb solar energy and convert it into usable heat. Freeze protected heat pipes transfer heat from within the evacuated tube up to an insulated copper header pipe through which a heat transfer liquid is circulated.

 

Suitable for domestic or commercial applications, Apricus solar collectors maintain strong efficiency levels even in challenging cold regions and high temperature locations.

In areas where natural gas or LPG bottle gas is available the Apricus gas boosted solar hot water system is an extremely efficient choice. This Electric Boosted option is designed for where that is not possible. The solar collector heats the water in the tank. If the water requires some additional heating the electric element heats the water to the required temperature.

 

Apricus Australia glass lined storage tanks are designed for Australian conditions and constructed of high quality vitreous enamel.
