MEW Tap

Suitable for use with the STIEBEL ELTRON SNU 5 and SNU 10 compact storage water heater the MEW is a short spout single lever sink mixer. The SNU is an open vented water heater and requires one of the four styles of STIEBEL ELTRON taps to be fitted with the product. The MEW sink mixer is rated with a three star WELS rating. The maximum flow rate of the MEW sink mixer is 8 litres per minute.

MESA Tap

The MES-A straight spout single lever swivel sink mixer is suitable for use with STIEBEL ELTRON SNU 5 or the SNU 10 compact storage single point of use water heater. The open vented design of the SNU 5 and the SNU 10 requires one of the four styles of STIEBEL ELTRON taps to be fitted with the product. The MES-A sink mixer has a maximum flow rate of 8 litres per minute and has a 3 star WELS rating.

1. How do electric storage systems work?

Electric storage systems work by storing hot water in the tank so it is immediately ready for use. Continuous flow systems work by heating the water on demand as opposed to storing it.

2. Are instantaneous water heaters energy efficient and sustainable?

Due to the proximity to the draw-off point, the pipe runs are shorter which ensures that there is a reduction in heat loss, and hot water is quickly available when it is drawn off next. This allows for only the required amount of water being used to be heated. This therefore saves energy, water and costs.

3. What are the benefits of an electric hot water system?
